embed

I am trying to embed from BlendSpace and each time I copy and paste the embed code into my page and click update, it disappears. How do I resolve this problem?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Not all embed codes work the same in WordPress.com. Some embed codes use a type of code which is not allowed in our environment, and so our editor strips it out as it is being published.

Could you try pasting the code that you’re trying to use in here and I’ll see if it’s something which is allowed?

    Thank you much!

Hi, it works in edublogs.org so I knew there was something awry!
    Here is the code
    <img src=”//cdn.thinglink.me/api/image/432365879703896065/1024/10/scaletowidth#tl-432365879703896065;1043138249″ width=”800″ class=”alwaysThinglink” /><script async charset=”utf-8″ src=”//cdn.thinglink.me/jse/embed.js”></script>

    Thanks :)

    Hiya,

Sorry for the delay, I was out over the weekend!

I took a look at the embedding code which you provided and it does indeed make use of a kind of code which we don’t allow in WordPress.com: Javascript. If Blendspace has any other kinds of embedding code which can be used, I’ll be happy to take a look at it to see if that will work instead!

Alternatively, you can also look at our full list of the types of code which are and are not allowed on the site. You can see that list right here:
