Embed a link to my wordpress site.

  I am studying uni and my curretn assignment requires students to create a wordpress blog, and to then embed the url link for marking of the site. How do I do this? I tried to give my address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) which didn’t work, so then I copied and pasted the URL from my site but that failed too.
  I appologise for my digital ignorance taking your time- and completely appreciate yours in helping me. I am starting to panic.

  Embed the URL link where? See the Links support page for instructions on creating links on a WordPress.com site.

  <a href="Destination or link URL">link text</a>
  For example, a link to your homepage, EDC 101 Teaching and Learning in the Digital World, might have the following code:
  <a href="https://1938365studentcurtin.wordpress.com/">DC 101 Teaching and Learning in the Digital World</a>, and the link itself will look like this:
  DC 101 Teaching and Learning in the Digital World.

  I will note, @cindydom, probably the easiest way to make a link is to type your link test, highlight it, then paste your URL over it.

  You can also add a custom link to your menu. Here’s a video that shows how that works:
