Embed a video

  I am able to copy a URL for a video and it shows up in my blog, but you have to first click on the copied URL and it doesn’t look very good. How can I have the video show directly without this extra step?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Where is the video located? Youtube? Vimeo? etc.

  The video came from a web site, I think NBC news. Wasn’t Youtube or Vimeo.

  Hello there!

  NBC.com videos aren’t supported by WordPress.com. They can’t be embedded. Here is a list of acceptable video types:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/

  If you don’t mind creating a link that can be clicked, sending your visitors to NBC.com to watch the video, my suggestion is to add a graphic. You can take a screenshot of the NBC player, if you’d like, uploaded to your Media Library, and then use it to create your link. That would be a bit more attractive than a text link.
