WordPress.com supports original content blogging. The law relating to copyright is the same online as it is in print media. Provided the copyright allows it you can use a brief quote and then properly attribute the authorship via linking.

Often writers will be open to allowing you to post their original work, provided the price you negotiate is acceptable. Make them an offer.

Since it appears the blogger has just gone ahead and stolen articles from all over, including the Huffington Post and CNN, it’s probably time to remind them that violations of the law such as this are grounds for getting their blog suspended.
-
Doubt it will do any good – but due diligence on our part is good – why do people just steal things? Bad potty training maybe?
-
The desire to get rich quick on the backs of hard-working writers is not unique to blogging. Ask any screenwriter.

I don’t understand the Not Paying People. The blog in question has token “courtesy of the Huffington Post” and such on some but not all of the stolen material. But if I ever see some bitch walking around wearing the bracelet my late mother bought in Paris that was stolen during the break-in I’ll be damned if I’ll be put off by a large “Courtesy of raincoaster” sticker on it.

Point made
I never use more than about 50 words from an article then a link to the full article, I will usually put in some of my commentary on why it is a good article – but NEVER the whole thing, link or not – sadly not everyone is like that, guess the asses have never spent three weeks and 100 man hours on an article
