Embed code being stripped out of posts
-
Hi
I’ve been trying to paste embed code for various things in posts but nothing shows up once I publish. I’ve tried Flickr slideshows, FotoViewr slideshows etc.
Steps I follow:
1. Copy the embed code from the relevant website eg. a slideshow from Flickr
2. Create a post on my WordPress.com hosted blog
3. In the TEXT editor I paste the code, and hit Publish
4. The Visual editor is then blank, the blog post is blank, and sometimes even the Text editor is also blank i.e. the embed code disappearsI’ve tried this process on another blog that I have with WordPress.org, a self-hosted blog and the embed code works fine i.e. I can see a slideshow on the blog.
Note: When I paste the embed-code for a SINGLE photo (from Flickr) into the Text editor, this shows up fine on the blog. But not for Slideshows unfortunately!
Please can you assist me with this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – on WordPress.com, certain types of code is not permitted for security reasons, including iframes like you’re attempting to use. You can see the types of code that are permitted here:
CodePlain HTML is fine, and we support a number of embeds. For slideshows, we support SlideShare and Speaker Deck:
