Embed Code from Canada Helps
-
Hello,
I am trying to embed a donation form from Canada Helps onto our website with no luck. When I paste the code onto our donate page, it automatically changes to a hyperlink to our agency’s page on the Canada Helps website.
I know WordPress.org has a whitelist and that code can only be embedded from those sites (Canada Helps is not one of those sites). Does this also apply to WordPress.com sites?
Is there any possible way around this?
Thanks in advance.

Hello maleallies,
It would not be possible to embed a form from another website on your WordPress.com site.
WordPress.org is the self-hosted version of WordPress.com and different features are available on each.
You can find out the difference between .com and .org here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you would like to have forms on your website on WordPress.com, you can look over this document to see the type of forms available: https://en.support.wordpress.com/forms/

Hi there – just wanted to clarify that CanadaHelps may provide a standalone donation form, which you can link to from your WordPress.com site, for example, from a nice, big call-to-action button. For many folks, that works just fine! Here’s a standalone form for an example organization: https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/4138
Just let us know if you need further help.
