Embed Google Map from Google Fusion Tables
-
I’ve created some custom Google maps using Google Fusion Tables but am unable to see the maps on my site when I paste in the iframe code. A post over at the Google Fusion support boards indicates that the reason is because while “maps.google.com” is on the whitelist for embedding maps, “www.google.com/fusiontables” is not.

Cant this mapping source be whitelisted as well? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update for anyone else searching on this topic:
I contacted WordPress staff about this issue, and they confirmed it is not currently possible to embed Fusion Table maps. They expressed interest in the feature though and it seems like it’s something that could be implemented at some point in the future. However, they implied that implementation is not as easy as flipping a switch.
Hopefully we’ll get this feature soon. Thanks for all the hard work WordPress Team!

Same here. An embed option for fusion table code in WordPress would be immensely useful.
Here’s to hoping that the lovely WordPress team can get to it! Thanks for all the hard work.
