  HI,
  My name is Chris Woodward. I’m a director at a company called http://www.clickstarpics.com. We provide an image embed platform. We are currently importing millions of celebrity / red carpet / fashion images on to the site for publishers to use online for non commercial blogging. Ideal for celebrity and fashion blogs. Our aim is to create a WordPress API plug-in.

  I believe Getty have done something similar. However, with out embed service it allows you to resize images, crop and merge with other images and we’ve also incorporated an editing suite when you can adjust volumes, add text or brushes, add shadows and even pixelate part of the image.

  I think it would be a great addition to WordPress, just need some advice about going about it!
