EMBED ISSUE GAMEFROOT

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello. We are trying to embed a Gamefroot game into our posts so that it is visible to our readers. The Gamefroot support team suggested the following code into ‘text’ mode: http://your%20game%20link%20here</iframe>

It works temporarily when you shift from ‘text’ mode to ‘visual’ mode. The game is physically there and works. However, when you publish the post the coding disappears and the post is blank.

Can anyone advise why this coding would not work and what is blocking it from doing so? Is there any advice or tips you can offer? This is for a Uni assignment and we need to get the game embedded on our page.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

WordPress.com strips iframes for security reasons.

    Add Code to Your Site

The exception to that is if you upgrade to Business plan. If you upgrade, a plugin could be used to add the iframe.

Alternatively, you could use a self-hosted WordPress(.org) site.

WordPress strips most html & php tags in the visual mode as part of security. If you need to embed custom code, you’ll need to switch to switch to Business Plan as suggested by @gary-barrett.
