Embed link in photograph
-
Is there a way to do this in my blog? I’d like to make the photo clickable back to the full sized image in my gallery. Thanks. Jen

Technically, you don’t embed the link in the photo. You can easily add a link to a photo, though.
Are your blog and your gallery two different sites? If so, this is what I do: I put the picture in my blog, then I click to select it, then I click on the Link icon and paste in the link to the page from which I got the image. Then I hit update and voila, the image is now clickable and takes me to the other page. Note that your picture may have a frame around it now, to indicate that it’s a link; this is theme-dependent, I think.

If you use the visual editor, when you “send” the image to the editor, you have the option of sending it as a thumbnail linked to the original, or you can send it full-sized and then size it down in the editor to fit your particular theme, and again have it linked to the original. Do be aware that any image over 2000px in the longest direction will not have the thumbnail option.
