Embed Login from another website

Would it be possible to embedd, (not with iframe) a login page from another website?
Exampel:
Website 1 has a login where each customer has his own control panel.
Website 2 its a wordpress website. I would like user to login to Website 1.I could obviously make a button on website 2 which redirect to website 1.
As I think it should work:
The login of website 2 could look alike the login of website 1, and if successfull will the user be redirected into website 1 as logged, if not will stay on website 1.Problem. How to code this? or is there any plugin that does that?.
Any other smarter approach?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @datahjelposlo, anything is possible! I’m not sure if there’s a plugin created for that already, though, and how you go about it would depend a lot on what two sites you’re logging into, etc.

It’s certainly possible and this could could be built into a theme. This kind of build would require a business plan.
