embed my wordpress blog into my existing website
-
Hi there. I am trying to find a way to embed my wordpress blog into my existing website. I need some sort of relevant html code to do so.
I have tried using this iframe code <iframe width=”420″ height=”315″ src=”(ENTER BLOG)” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe> but it doesn’t work as it only shows the top corner of my blog page. How can I either get a full Iframe or get the relevant embed code?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you trying to embed your blog on a self-hosted website? For help with that you’ll need to post in the WordPress.org forums as this forum is only for free WordPress.COM blogs. WordPress.com and wordpress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Please visit the wordpress.org support forum for assistance as we won’t be able to help you here: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.

Hi
No I need it for the .com
Just need a simple HTML code or something to embed it in so that you can view the same blog.
You can Iframe it too, but I would need an Iframe code that shows the entire screen not just the top corner.

iframe tags are not allowed on WordPress.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
If you are able to insert an iframe without the system stripping it out completely you are not on a WordPress.com website.

Oh ok, maybe thats why the Iframe was playing up.
Its not a specific website. I need this method for a couple of different websites. Is there a relevant HTML code for WordPress? -
I don’t know of any way to embed one WP.com blog in another WP.com blog. The only thing that comes close is the Display WordPress Posts widget with which you can display posts from one site in the sidebar of another site: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/display-wordpress-posts/

I dont need to embed it in another blog. I just need to know how to get a relevant HTML code to embed a wp.com blog onto a website so that the blog is viewable on the website. This would then allow the traffic from my website to be directed to my blog. Hope that makes sense

Also, is there a way to edit my original question as I didnt realise this is a public platform and need my personal details removed. I’ve tried everything, nothing works. Only option I feel like I have is deleting my entire WordPress account.

That depends on the website. Most simply embed your site’s RSS feed, but it depends on the webhost and the the web-building software you use. You can find more information on your blog’s feed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/ For anything else you’ll have to consult your webhost’s support documents. They might also have some ideas on the WordPress.org forums I linked to earlier. But I doubt you’ll find an answer here as this forum and related support docs only offer help with WordPress.com sites themselves.
You can also map your blog to a subdomain on your website, e.g. blog.mydomain.com. Add the subdomain to your website’s menu and if people click on that they get taken to the WordPress.com blog. More here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/

I see no personal information in your original post, so if you added it the software must have stripped it out. There is no way to delete threads from the forum and and staff will only delete it if it poses a valid safety concern. Your WordPress.com account also cannot be deleted.

Thank you for that. I will have a look when O get to my laptop and get back to you about the blog.
As for the details, could you remove the blog link at the bottom as that shouldn’t be there as my question was general and not specific to that blog =)
Thanks again and I will get back to you asap once I’ve had a look at the links you’ve sent
