Embed of Socrata Dataset
-
I’d like to embed a dataset from Socrata. Here is a sample dataset:
https://chhs.data.ca.gov/w/6s47-7xaa/2s6u-rvgc?cur=Fx75XrJa61g&from=rootAnd then the embed code supplied by Socrata:
<div><iframe width=’500px’ title=’Total Number of Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Clients Served by Sex, 1997-2013′ height=’425px’ src=’https://chhs.data.ca.gov/w/6s47-7xaa/2s6u-rvgc?cur=qa1-465kNTG&from=Fx75XrJa61g’ frameborder=’0’scrolling=’no’>Total Number of Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Clients Served by Sex, 1997-2013</iframe><p>Powered by Socrata</p></div>I’ve watched a number of Youtube videos about the process, which sounds quite straight forward, but the process does not seem to work. I merely get a link to the dataset in the post, not an embed. Yet if I use the same embed code in a web-based HTML tester, it works fine.
Any suggestions?

The youtubes you watched are for those with wordpress.ORG software installs. They are not for wordpress.COm hosted blogs like http://meloan.wordpress.com/
There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability. Blogger installed plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons. No upgrade changes that reality. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
All iframe codes are stripped out of wordpress.COM hosted blogs for security reasons. The same stripping of code is also true of JavaScript codes and advertising codes. Please read the code restrictions at
