Embed pinterest board / widget / profile still not working
-
I don’t know if this helps but I noticed that if my blog is set to private it didn’t show, but when I set it to public then it showed, then when I set it to private again it didn’t display again.

@michaeldching – it is not possible to enable sharing on private sites, which is why the buttons seem to disappear and reappear based on those settings.
Leave you blog as accessible to the public, and you should be able to share without issue.

Hi, when I’ve tried to embed a board on a post, it only shows a URL. I’ve tried everything the WordPress support page suggested. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

When I copied a pin, the address included .gb. For example like this: http://gb.pinterest.com/pin/66076319507482380/
I found that I had to remove .gb when I pasted a pin into a post. Only when I removed .gb did it work.

I tried embedding a pin here: http://carolsnotebook.com/2014/04/21/r-is-for-recipe/
The link is not clickable, but it’s not embedding it either.

@carolsnotebook You’ve reached support for the free blogs hosted at WordPress.com. The site you’ve indicated is running a self-hosted/installed version of WordPress (using the free WordPress.org software).
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. You can read more about that here:
WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at:
