  I was trying to embed a video from MLB.com here…

  http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?topic_id=4488754

  …and all I get is a yellow box with an “F” in the middle. Is it not possible to use this type of video in WordPress?

  Have you tried vodpod?

  You can post just about any video to your WordPress.com blog using VodPod’s “Post to WordPress” button. The “Post to WordPress” button will work on just about any site that offers Flash video with an embed code. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/vodpod/
