Embed Video disappearing

Hello, I posted an embed Video but it disappears when I press play.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. I can see it from another places, but from here it just dissappears, and I updated my browser. Safari 5.0.6. Mac Osx 10.5.8.

I can view this video using Firefox 7 without any problems. I cannot view it using IE8 either in compatibility mode or not using compatibility mode. As soon as I click on the video it disappears completely in IE8.

I don’t know if this might help, but this evening I couldn’t see any videos from Youtube there or on my blog and had to update the Adobe Flash Player, yet they were fine this morning – so it might be that you just need to update your player. Just a thought…

Youtube had some problems yesterday due to all the people viewing Occupy WallStreet vidoes, apparently.
But usually this problem is caused by a problem in your own computer. Delete your cache and cookies and reload the page. That solves most of these issues.

lecturesfreudiennes has the videopress ugrade and is not referring to youtube vieos at all. I flagged this thread previously for Staff attention.

Your version of Safari is a bit out of date, and I’m wondering if 10.5.8 can’t run a high enough Flash Player, since that’s a bit out of date too.
Can you try Chrome instead?
-
I have Safari 5.0.2. and 10.5.8. and it’s working fine where I’m at now, but two people I sent the video have the same problem. Are you seriously telling me that if I don’t have OSX Lion I can’t see them at all ? They could have informed of that before I purchased that upgrade.
-
There’s no requirement for Lion, I just think your version of Safari may be too outdate.
Have you tried Chrome yet?
-
I meant Snow Leopard… but it’s clearly not that… It’s working here with Safari 5.0.2. and 10.5.8. Some people can see, others don’t…. And anyway I want to share my videos with people, I’m not going to tell each one of them update your browser, blah blah…. Why not have something that is more backwards compatible ? If it works like that then it’ useless for me.
-
VideoPress is quite backwards compatible, it would help if we knew details on the users who can’t view the videos.
Users need to either have Flash installed, or they need to have a modern enough browser to process the native HTML5 embeds. basically, the requirements are the same as YouTube.
