Embed Video on WordPress using ShareThis

  I have an installation of WordPress 2.7 running on DreamHost. I would like to embed a video, what’s the easiest way of doing this?

  The video I want to embed has a ShareThis widget, and one of the options on the widget are posting to a WordPress blog. It asks for my blog url and username and password. However, after I give it that information, nothing happens. Anyone know what’s going on? Does this function not work when WordPress is installed on my own host?
