Embed video – rong size

Hi people,
I’m trying to insert a video on a post but as I can see the vigilance theme not aloud us to put a YouTube or whatever on the size we want.
It doesn’t matter with video you try to put, It always show up 425 x 350 pixels.
I checked some others blogs with vigilance theme and notice that this happens with everyone.
Does any one here know how to embed a video on a widescreen size, for a example?

In general though when you insert a youtube or other video in a post or page, wordpress automatically sizes it for the maximum width of the post area.

Apparently there is an issue in the backend where the videos aren’t being sized properly for the vigilance theme. You can alter this though on a case by case basis. If you add the following (and change the height and width as required) to the end of the shortcode after you insert the video
&w=560&h=340so it looks like this:
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3LUid0IZ2w&w=560&h=340]I looked on the youtube page and got the numbers above from one of their preset sizes for the particular video.

Yes, but look at the Vimeo support document. The code may be a little different. Just search for Vimeo on the support pages.
