I’m having the same problem and found this:

    Embedding on Blogging Sites

Some blogging solutions do not allow embedded object HTML code to be posted on their hosted blogs. These sites often do not give any errors when they strip out the embed code and save the entry.

If embedding a video utilizing our Smart Player you have the choice to obtain Flash embed code with HTML5 fallback or receive Flash-only embed code. The Flash-only option is a back-up option in case your blog or hosting solution does not accept the iFrame used for the Flash with HTML5 fallback option. Note that the Flash-only option does not support quizzing from Camtasia Studio.

Check the list below for your preferred blogging site to see if they accept embed code:

    Blogger
You can embed from Screencast.com in either the Compose or Edit HTML views.
    WordPress.com
WordPress does not support embed tags of any kind. See this WordPress help article for details.
    LiveJournal.com
You can embed from Screencast.com in the HTML view, but the embed code does not work in the Compose view.
    Vox.com
To embed on Vox.com, use the embed option on the top of the entry editor.
    MoveableType
Embedding from Screencast.com on MoveableType works by default, but some WYSIWYG editors may remove the embed code. If you are having trouble using embed code in MoveableType, try disabling any WYSIWYG editors.
    TypePad
Embed code works properly when posting with the Edit HTML view.
