Embed Videos from youtube in my wordpress blog

  Why can I no longer embed a youtube video on my blog? I’ve tried several videos, but it does not appear on my page, can you help me?

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first. If you are, please try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  I have embedded MANY videos in my blogs and now, all of a sudden, this feature is NOT working! Help!!! I have an important video to get out for work and I can’t get it embedded. Please tell us on this post what is happening or give us a phone number for customer service. Thank you!

  Thank you for reporting this!

  We researched the issue and found that YouTube had changed the format of their embed code, so we updated WordPress.com to work with the new formatting.

  Can you please try embedding a YouTube video again? An iframe embed code should get converted into a shortcode now, just like it used to.

  If you have any trouble, please reply back here and include the YouTube video link or iframe code you’re using.

  can you tell me how to change the size of the embedded video so that it actually fits the page? I don’t see a setting in Settings>Media that allows me to do so

  To change the size of the embedded video, you do it on the YouTube end. Click on the “share” tab and embed. You’ll see a box that allows you to size down the video in a fixed ratio.
