Embed YouTube video

I am trying to embed a YouTube video into my post. I pasted the video’s URL into it’s own line, without a hyperlink, yet the post still only shows hyperlinked text, no video.

I tried to embedd this video on another site , it was easily done. Just a few checks make sure the visual editor is used and the video gets loaded, check the demo here https://pavan.blog/https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
Just look into the video and the details on the page to cross check ones. Or we can figure out another way to get the video running. -
Pavanraheja, thank you for your help. I followed the instructions on the video and still, the video will not show up on my post. I pasted the URL on it’s own line, using the visual editor and I made sure the URL was not hyperlinked. When I published the post, the URL is hyperlinked. I have successfully embedded youtube videos on a previous wordpress blog. I can’t figure out why it’s not working this time.

Its surprising why isint it coming up, just when you copy the link in the Visual editor the video appears right there and you can preview it.
May be its theme problem , the one your using is a Hemmingway Rewritten , If you could just change the theme and try to embedd the video and see if it works. I could then get the error resolved by the staff for the video problem. Hope to hear soon. Regards
