Will WordPress.com support Google Maps’ new feature of being able to embed a map into a page? Currently Google allows you to paste an iframe snippet of a particular map into a blog or webpage.

I doubt it.

Iframes and javascript are banned at wp.com.

Perhaps you could make the suggestion to staff? If enough people ask they might just listen and do something about it.

i have tired embedding google map on wordpress using Google latest feature. It not working. I leaving for blogger.com instead. It works well.

Folks – please, contact support and suggest it to them. Staff don’t populate the forum too often and like to keep track of the feature requests.

LOL … maybe wordpress.com should be courting Google to buy them out … LOL :D
That way everyone would be happy that BigBrother was everywhere collecting private information at every turn and and controlling every aspect of everyone’s cyber life, as if it isn’t now. ;)
