Embedded Cover Art in MP3 Is Stripped Out Upon Upload To WordPress

  After updating WordPress 4.9.6.2, all of the embedded cover art for my .MP3 files gets separated out each time I upload a new .MP3 file into the Media Gallery. This behavior is not normal, of course – and I have NEVER had any problems uploading MP3 files to our WordPress site. This behaviour changed about a week ago, after we upgraded our WordPress site to the version I listed above.

  Can anyone help with this? We’re grateful for any help offered. Thanks much.

  Sorry but you are in the wrong place.
  These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
