Embedded Flickr Photos Not Appearing
-
I’ve embedded a number of photos into my blog. The pictures all used to appear but no longer do. The page simply says “this photo is no longer available”. But when I look at the embedded link and cut and paste it into my browser, the picture appears. Other pictures (from the same Flickr account and album) before and after the missing picture still show up. Any thoughts on what might be happening?

Hi there,
Are you referring to https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/flickr-photos/ If so what you describe sounds odd. Can you please provide some examples for Staff? Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. -
Thanks.
This is one of the pages where a random photo is missing.

Interestingly, if I click on the missing photo, it takes me to the actual photo on Flickr.
This is the code that I used to embed the picture:
Further down the page, several other pictures also don’t show up. It’s very odd.

Hi @changsdownunder , sometimes I’ve seen things like this if there are just too many flickr embeds in a single post. You have 91 images in this one — which is a lot for anyone to download (especially on their phone) anyway.
Can you try splitting some of these into a “Part II” post to see whether that helps?
