Embedded Google calendar

Calendar does not work well on iPhone. Not responsive, won’t move side to side, won’t pinch down in size or back up, events are so small, even on week view, that cannot open by hovering or touch.
I need a functional, responsive calendar that works as well on small smartphones as on ipad or mini ipad. I cannot get the Google calendar to do that.I just finished looking at the Word Press event calendar published in Hot Off the Press today. It has the drawbacks that I stated here. It’s not usable on an iPhone.

Unfortunately, I think this is an issue with Google Calendar itself. Google Calendar’s embedded calendars just aren’t responsive or mobile friendly, and that’s something only Google themselves can fix.
However, you can have your upcoming Google Calendar items displayed as a list, and that should be responsive! You can find those instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/

If the problem lies with Google, then Word Press should offer other embeddable calendars that are mobile friendly. This is a major problem for me since my audience will visit my site 99% of time on a phone. A functional calendar is essential to the content displayed on my site. A calendar is what my audience is looking for when visiting my site.
I need a spread sheet type calendar, not chronological event listing, such as Eventbrite. -
Same issue here. I have tried a lot of things and widgets and I think the lack of responsiveness lies with Google… I have tried some widgets but none offer the format and all of the information like you get in an embedded google calendar.
