Embedded HTML Audio Player not showing

  I am trying to embed an audio player using HTML, and it shows in preview when I am editing my post, but when the post goes live, the player doesn’t appear. Am I not able to embed an audio player with the free WP.com tier?

  The html-code you can use on the wordpress.com platform is very limited. The EMBED code is one of them. But you can embed from several popular platforms, https://wordpress.com/support/audio/

  Ah okay. So – HTML code for my podcast provider’s website likely won’t work, but I may be able to embed from somewhere else if it’s available there. Thank you!

  Ah, you can embed a podcast here by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/podcast-player-block/ no HTML required. :)
