Embedded images via Google Drive permalinks not displaying

  Hi, I have permalinks on my wordpress.com site that should display images from my Google Drive using the following format:

  http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=FILEID
  (where FILEID is a long sequence of digits and letters).

  It has been working for a long time but stopped working yesterday. The images no longer display on my wordpress.com site and only show an empty square image holder. However, if I click on the image holder, it opens the image I have stored on Google Drive so I know the image is there.

  Any ideas what the issue could be? Thanks
