  I’ve tried to embed gif links and they won’t automatically show anymore. Why? They used to

  Hi there,

  Can you tell us how exactly you try to embed a Giphy link? What process do you follow? And can you give an example of the link you’re embedding?

  I just tried adding a Giphy link on a test site, and it’s embedding the GIF fine for me. So the problem is likely with how you’re adding it.

  To add a link, first, make sure you’re copying the GIF link on Giphy:

  https://d.pr/i/VaYwFw

  Then paste that on a new line in the editor. That should automatically select the Embed block, and the embed should appear right away in the editor.

  That doesn’t work. If I use the link like you do, it just puts it as a link.
  I choose the “embed” option and paste it into the block. It previews.
  Then, when I save and go view the post it just gives a link.
  I go back to my draft and it’s suddenly shortened making it not work.
