Embedded PDF no longer displaying

    The PDF on my site in my resume page no longer loads. I have attempted to load the page on multiple browsers but the PDF does not show on the page any more, only the link to download the pdf file. I have attempted to delete the block and replace it but that also had no effect. I tried using the ‘File’ block as well as the embedded block with no luck.

    Previously, the embedded block worked perfectly but recently when I checked my Resume page, the pdf was gone.

    Interestingly, I can see the PDF when editing the page within the ‘File’ block but as soon as I view the published page there is no longer a PDF. I have linked two screenshots showing the problem.

    Hi there,

    PDF embeds are broken at the moment, yes. Using the file block it works in the editor, but it’s not working on the published post/page for either the file block or the embed block.

    Our developers are aware of this issue, but I’m afraid I’m not able to tell you when this will be fixed.

    For now the only option that’s available is to display the download link for the PDF instead, but if someone clicks that and they’re using a browser with a PDF viewer installed (most modern browsers do by default), the file should open directly in their browser.
