Embedded tweets display as text is that a theme thing?
-
In the past I could embed tweets in posts and they would be formatted to look like tweets in the Twitter timeline.
Now they appear simply as text.
Is that to do with the theme I’m using (Untitled Theme) or has something else changed?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just to make sure, are you following the instructions here:

There’s a tweet right at the bottom of this post:

It just appears as plain text (although it is indented).

So I guess the question is: “Why don’t I see them display this way?”
Actually I just checked. I can see them that way when I use the Safari browser, so it’s either just a Chrome thing, or it’s to do with the way Chrome is set up on my machine.

Yes, managed to fix it by killing a chrome ad-blocking extension. Thanks for your help. Now I can go back to running Twitter-based stories on my site.

They also display as text if the tweet itself has been deleted. Then it displays as plain text and a link which goes to teh “Twitter cannot find that” page. I discovered that recently.

Raincoaster is correct. And I was going to point that out as well. But since I could see the full tweet, it didn’t appear to have been deleted.
