embedded video is deleted

When I proofread in visual mode, then click update, an embedded video is deleted. Why is this happening and how can I avoid it?
I tried re-inserting the html code in text mode and it still disappears when I click update.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

I can take a look at this for you.

Could you give me the post or page where the video should display?

Also, please send me a link to the video.

Once I get this information, I’ll look into the issue further for you.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

I am working as a proofreader for Health Impact News. I have this ongoing problem that when I click Update after proofing an article, the system deletes an embedded video. My employer says to re-insert the code in Text mode. But, it still deletes the code when I click Update. Help!
Here is an example of a code he told me to re-insert:

Also, this is the code that needs to be replaced at the bottom of the Isaiah Rider article, if you edit in Visual mode – you will need to add it back in Text Mode:

    <div id=”fb-root”></div> <script>(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));</script>
    <div class=”fb-post” data-href=”https://www.facebook.com/TeamIsaiahRider/posts/856538197723443″ data-width=”466″><div class=”fb-xfbml-parse-ignore”>Post by Team Isaiah.</div></div>

    Hey Kathleen,

Your employer has given you code that won’t work on a WordPress.com site.

Third party code cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.

If you wouldn’t like to add video to your site, you can use one of the options outlined here:

    Hi

My employer is using Word Press software on his own server. Would he still have the same limitation that you described?

Do you have any thoughts about why he can edit the page in text mode and the video is saved, while when I do it, the code for the video disappears? Would his higher level status as administrator change the rules for editing and updating posts?

    Thanks,

    Kathleen
