Embedded youtube video has amended back to link and won't allow me to re-post..

  Hello, I recently went in to edit an existing blog and the you tube videos that were already embedded amended to just showing the link, even though I didn’t touch them. WordPress now won’t allow me to paste the link back into the visual post screen, only into the text screen which means it continues to only show it as a link instead of the video itself on the blog. Has this happened to anyone before? Can anyone pls advise me on what I need to do? Thanks very much.

  Hi wonderingsoul25,

  The two things I’ve found with posting YouTube videos by just using the link is that it needs to be on it’s own line, and it can’t be hyper linked.

  Sometimes if I paste the link it automatically tries to link it so I need to manually remove the link by clicking the unlink button in the editor menu.
