Embedded Youtube video – no sound

The video plays but there is no sound, even though my speakers are on and the volume on the Youtube video is set to the max. When I click on the Youtube logo to go directly to Youtube to view it, the sound is fine. What could be the problem?

Its likely to be a flash setting or something to do with your own computer or browser. I have Firefox 11 and can hear the sound (if you’re talking about the video in your current post).
Try clearing your cache, logging back into your blog and trying again. If that doesn’t work, one thing that sometimes helps me with YouTube problems is to turn off the hardware acceleration. Here’s a search page from google that might turn up some results.

Thanks for your help. Yes I think it’s probably just my phone that’s acting up – I use my phone most of the time, it’s an Android and though it’s pretty good for most things, it just can’t seem to play that video properly on my blog. I am now using my netbook, with Firefox on it, and I can now see the video just fine.
