Embedded Youtube videos do not play smoothly
-
I have some of my Youtube videos embedded on my WordPress.com site (www.caseysmartt.com). But, they do not play smoothly when played on the embedded player on my site. It looks as though they are only playing 1/3 of the frames from Youtube. If you watch them on Youtube (by clicking the youtube badge on embedded player) they play nice and smooth in HD. Am I missing a setting or something? Why do they do this? Same computer… same internet connection… huge difference in quality between the two.
Thank you,

For the above question, here is a link to my homepage and to an embedded video.

For me, that embedded video occasionally halts, then runs smoothly for a few seconds again. And that’s in 360p.
And on YouTube it’s the same thing. But I’m using the HTML5 player on Fedora GNU/Linux…so I’m not the best test sample. :)

Interesting… if I play the embedded videos using the Google Chrome browser they are perfect. If play the embedded videos using Internet Explorer 9 they are jumpy. What the heck???
