EMBEDDING A CALENDAR

  OK all, forgive me for bringthing this up AGAIN! But I have seen some WP blogs that are not CSS customizable (so free) that have somehow gotten the google calendars to embed on a page.
  How can I do this? I am so lost with WP! I know I should fork out the dough for a customizable CSS upgrade but I dont have money to spend right now until my readership gets up and running..so help me out here please!

  The CSS upgrade will not allow google calendar embeds; it has nothing to do with it. Are you sure the blogs you’re looking at are hosted here? Give us some links.

  {waving to judy} The only wordpress blogs with google calendars embedded are wordpress.org blogs and not wordpress.com blogs.

  I just use an external Calendar and link to it. It also links back to the blog in every entry, so no problem. The Calendar is also free.

  If you have examples of real WP.com blogs that have embedded calendars, please post a link to them here. I’ve never heard of that.

  Your mention of not having money till readership gets up and running leads me to believe you must be independently hosted, not part of WP.com, because advertising and sales are against the Terms of Service here. WP.com is only for noncommercial blogs.
