Embedding a Google Map in my blog as a widget

  I had a Google Map embedded in my blog as a widget and then one day it wasn’t there. I am currently trying to figure out where it went or how to re-imbed. Can you please help??

  You blog is private and we Volunteers cannot view it. The guide for the old iteration of Google maps which is the only one we can use on WordPress.COM blogs is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/ For text widgets see http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/

  Hi there!

  I’m not sure where your widget went. I don’t see any inactive widgets on your site, so I’m not exactly sure what happened here.

  However, the links timethief gave you above will get your widget working again. Just add the Google Maps shortcode to a Text widget.
