embedding a link to show an image on the website

I have a link that I need to embed to show an image but I ideally would like this in the top left or right hand corner of every page and not in a widget box. Can you help? This is the embedding code (I think)

It can be done but the URL you have included there is a link to the article itself and not an image. If you upload the image you want to use to your media library and then add it to a text widget on your blog and let me know I will check back later and see if I can help you out.
The code to use in your text widget will look something like this:

Thank you but I didn’t want to use it as a widget as i’d like it located at the top of each page of the website in the corner. I posted this in the CSS forum. Thank you though! :)

That’s my fault for not explaining why I was asking clearly – if you create it as a widget I can help you use CSS to move it to the top corner of your site!
But you need to add it as a widget first so I can test out the right CSS so that you end up with what you want. I promise it won’t be there as a widget for long, and if I get stuck you can always remove the widget so none of your visitors can see it.

You’ll need to include it in a text widget with the HTML code I suggested previously if you want the image to be a link. You should also upload the image you want to use to your WordPress.com media library as it isn’t working when you link to your webmail version – the image is not showing up at all currently.

Hi, I took a look at your image widget, and the link to to zoho.com/mail/. If the image you wish to use is within an email, you will have to download that image to your computer and then upload it to the Media Library on your site here and get the URL for that image. The URL for the image will appear in the “File URL” field on the image edit page (click on the uploaded image) to the right.

I think I’ve done everything that you’ve both said – omg I’m useless. I have literally added 3 links to the text widget and one to the image one after uploading to the media library. Can you tell me if any of that is right and if it is, what I should delete and what I should leave in place!

Eureka! The bagde is up through some miracle of god – now I just want to make it appear on every page in the top right hand corner (of every page on the website). If possible :)

I can still only see one text widget on your blog – it contains your twitter button and follower count. There are no image widgets at all (unless I’m looking in the wrong place).
You need to create a brand new text widget and copy in the HTML code I posted previously, it would also be useful if you let us know the URL to the image in your media library now you have it uploaded – then once that is live on your blog I can let you know what CSS will move it out of your footer and to the top right hand corner of every page.
