embedding a powerpoint

  I embedded a powerpoint but it posted with a big black space above and below: http://womeninenergy.wordpress.com/2012/08/19/maryland-women-in-energy-and-climate-map/. How do I get rid of the black space?

  If you want to embed the document itself into a post, then you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs.

  Thank you for the quick response. I did use google docs to embed, but the problem is the black space above and below. How do I get rid of the black space?

  If you edit your post, you’ll notice a height declaration in the shortcode.

  Try decreasing that to 600.

  Also, make sure that you specifically follow this guide in the future: http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-docs/
