Embedding a slideshow

    Hi, I’d like to embed a picasa slideshow in my wordpress.COM blog. I have tried several times to add it via the HTML section, but it won’t show up.

    I am currently using the WordPress gallery to show my images, but I am concerned about downloads. There is no option in the WordPress gallery to protect your images from downloads.

    Any help would be great.

    Hi there,

    Certain kinds of embed code (such as code using Flash or Javascript) isn’t allowed at WordPress.com for security reasons. You can learn more about that here: Code

    If you’re concerned about people downloading your images, you may want to take a look at our tips for preventing content theft here: Prevent Content Theft

    In particular, I recommend putting a watermark on all of your images. That’s a great way to prevent someone from downloading and reusing your images without permission.
