embedding an email link into a post

How do I put a live email link into a post, so that when a reader clicks on it, it opens their email and puts the address automatically into their To line and a Subject into their Subject line?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But this is a gift to spam bots. Better use the WP contact form instead:

As pointed out if you provide an active email link then you are providing spammers with exactly what they need. The main link to all support documentation is http://en.support.wordpress.com and that link is found at the bottom of your Admin page on your blog. The searchbox rpovides results from both the support documentation and from forum threads.
example: links @
results: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/

I have not found what I want by searching the forums, which is why I am posting this question. I am aware about the spam problem – even so, will you or someone else please explain – How do I put a live email link into a post, so that when a reader clicks on it, it opens their email and puts the address automatically into their To line and a Subject into their Subject line?

the Editor converted things – if you can’t click on the link given you above this code should work
