Embedding Audio Clip Doesn't Work—Why?

I’m trying to embed an audio clip uploaded to Flickr, using the (free) method in Help:

    [ audio https://flic.kr/p/w1JEzh ]

Doesn’t work. Yes, I know that Flickr has an eternal “Being processed” message on the file, but downloading it does work (though it looks like you have to be a Flickr member). In any case, the link should embed, creating an audio player, and it doesn’t.

The file was an M4a (Apple MP4) format. I changed it to MP3, and it still doesn’t embed.

Can someone help solve this problem?

UPDATE: People were having trouble downloading from Flickr, so I changed it to a straight public link to my Copy.com account. They can play the clip there.

But it would be so much cooler if readers could play an embedded clip!

Using [audio ___________URL_______] with Copy.com didn’t work, either.

Does no one have an answer to the question?

How do I get the audio clip to create the embedded player?
