Embedding Blog into my website
-
I would like to embed my blog into our website, however NOT as an iFrame. I would like to find a way to have the actual content automatically update on our site in real-time as it updates on our WordPress site. I would like the actual content to be included in our html code automatically…so that the meta-tags and keywords can be picked up by search engine algorithms.
Please advise the best way to go about this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, there are a few issues with this.
If you have a blog here and duplicate the content on your website, Google will throw both of the sites down a well. Search engines hate duplicated content and consider it spam, which it is.
The second issue is that we don’t really provide support for anything but the blogs at WordPress.com, which is to say that you’ll get better advice from Google searches than from asking here. We only talk about how to blog at WordPress.com better.

You can put an RSS feed into your website from your blog. That would not anger the search engine gods. You can search on Google for something like “add RSS feed to website and come up some suggestions on how to do it. It will require some PHP scripting to do it, or if your website server happens to be a Winduh’s box, then you will have to find some .ASP code and then modify that.

Wouldn’t that bother search engines, though? If they’re just displaying an RSS widget, then fine, but if they’re using it to scrape the content, how would that be different from what blog scrapers already do?
