embedding blog to a different domain

  I created a blog(on wordpress.com) and want to now embed this blog on a school home webpage. Will the export code that I downloaded work on this totally different webpage? So, I am not moving it to another wordpress.com or wordpress.org account. I think the Domain Management heading sounds like this is what I need to do. Is that correct?
