Embedding BlogTalk player and video
-
I have tried to embed my blogtalk player into my posts, as well as YouTube video and/or MySpace video, but they don’t seem to show up. I can, however, post a clickable link to the sites they are on. I have spent some time looking for an answer to this, but have been unable to find it. BlogTalk says links should work in wordpress. Do I need an upgraded account for this?
Thanks in advance for any info! I greatly appreciate it!

This covers putting videos into your blog: http://support.wordpress.com/?s=video
And this tells you about putting audio into your blog: http://support.wordpress.com/audio/
As far as blogtalk, can you give us sample of the “link” they are talking about?

This is the embed code they say works (I am adding spaces so I dont post the player):
<embed src=”http://ww w.blogtalkradio.com/BTRPlayer.swf?file=http://www.blogtalkradio.com%2fPSI-FI-Para-Radio%2fplay_list.xml&autostart=false&shuffle=false&callback=http://www.blogtalkradio.com/FlashPlayerCallback.aspx&width=210&height=105&volume=80&corner=rounded” width=”210″ height=”105″ type=”applicati on/x-shockwave-flash” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” quality=”high” wmode=”transparent” menu=”false” allowScr iptAccess=”always”></embed>
Thank you so much for the info!

That code is flash, and flash is not allowed at wordpress.com due to security concerns. When they say “it works” they are talking about self-hosted wordpress blogs, not blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM.
You might try the vodpod button, but my understanding is that vodpod is limited to videos here, but it would be worth a try.
