embedding dmcloud.net videos

  Hi!

  I tried to embed the following url into post editor:

  <iframe width=”512″ height=”288″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” src=”http://api.dmcloud.net/player/embed/51556c3f06361d781200012c/516fd2a8947399703a00049d?auth=1681647316-0-jei3sj8k-57d33c7b4587f62875e3ed0d85d6a18e”></iframe>

  The code is getting removed everytime I click the “save draft” or “preview” button. Embedding youtube videos works. Is dmcloud.net url’s not allowed for security purposes?

  Hello!

  Certain codes – like iframe – are not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons. Because of this, we have developed shortcodes that will allow you to embed a lot of popular services – including YouTube – without having to rely on iframe or other code that isn’t allowed. Here’s the list of current shortcodes:

  At this time, we do not have support for dmcloud.net. If you feel strongly about having this added, please post your suggestion in our ideas forum to discuss with the WordPress.com community:
