Embedding Facebook group content

    I’m aware that content from user timelines and pages can be embedded in WordPress.com as long as both the timeline/page and post are public. However, I sometimes want to embed a post from a Facebook group and am finding myself unable to do so, even if the privacy setting of the group is Open. Any help?
