Embedding Facebook Page events

    Hi

    I’m trying to find out whether it’s possible to embed an event from a Facebook page into a post. I can get a post to embed but can’t figure out how to do an event. Would make my life much easier if it were possible.

    Any ideas?

    http://blagdon.org/wp/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM. We provide support only for blogs being hosted WordPress.COM and not for WordPress.ORG software installs. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    Yep – blagdon.org/wp/ is a self hosted site and not supported by WordPress.com. But many of the smaller sites that are part of the, for want of a better phrase, ‘eco-system’ it’s part of are.

    I’ve been running both .org and .com sites for years and do understand the difference. My query is whether it’s possible to embed a facebook page event on a .com site, i’d look for a plug-in if it was for the main .org site.

    I’m trying to streamline things to make it easier for those that run the ‘eco-system’ and put everything on .com where they’re happy. If you’ve got any ideas how to make the embedding work I’d love to hear it.
