  Embedding Facebook updates with URLs or shortcodes no longer works on my blogs.

  What is going on?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I would really appreciate it if someone could find out why the Facebook embedding feature has suddenly stopped working.

  Thank you, justjennifer. They all stopped working simultaneously even on posts that are published at different times, and on my other blogs.

  The feature does not work and nothing is displayed regardless of which format I used. For example:

  Thanks for the report.

  For Staff assistance, please add a “modlook” tag to the tags in the sidebar of this thread. Please be patient while waiting for them to reply as such tagged threads are usually handled on an age basis and bumping threads actually pushes it down in the queue.

  I’ve tested this out and my past embeds are broken as well, and I’ve not been able to embed new content from Facebook onto my sites.

  Reported to our developers. I’ll bring any new information back here, so please subscribe to the thread if you have not already.

  This issue has now been resolved, please refresh any browser windows you had open and let me know if your embeds still aren’t displaying.

  I’m having issues with FB embedding as well, and I would like to ask the following:
  Was this issue happening on WordPress.org based WP installation as well?
  If so, do you know if it was fixed?

  Not WordPress core, but the issue also affected the Jetpack plugin. It was resolved on May 18th for Jetpack:
