Embedding Google maps
-
I have been trying to embed a customized Google map onto my blog (www.phillypublicpools.com). These instructions (http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/) don’t work for me. Any advice?
(In searching about this, one thing I’ve turned up is that there’s a difference in embedding maps on WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites. I thought I had a WordPress.com site, but if you don’t have WordPress.com in your site name, does that make it WordPress.org?)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you have a wordpress.com site, it just appears without the ‘wordpress’ part because you have a custom domain.
I found discussion of a similar problem with the new google maps engine in this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-can-i-embed-a-google-map-to-my-page?replies=13
The answer seems to be that you can use the regular embed instructions if you change your google maps back to the Classic version, like this: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3045828?hl=en
By the way, I love the focus of your site, documenting and sharing the public pool communities. :)
