embedding google slides

  Hello! I have tried over 20 times to embed a google slides into my wordpress following your directions specifically, the issue seems to be when you hit embed the code you get is not a website code it is something like: [googleapps domain="docs" dir="presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRNgGTLwPq9_YJ3SfsTivOEdXWh7RjImIO1O1soStL3pRCKY4s102r43inMpSKdeC8ZrePp6mKn-kk5/embed" query="start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000" width="960" height="569" /] —
  which is obviously not a link to a http site, so it does nothing. but when I am in the link instead, I get something like
  https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRNgGTLwPq9_YJ3SfsTivOEdXWh7RjImIO1O1soStL3pRCKY4s102r43inMpSKdeC8ZrePp6mKn-kk5/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000
  but that just shows the link doesn’t create a link, I need the slides to show and please DO NOT just cut and paste for me, as I have read the directions, they are not working! WHat is the trick to getting a google slides that is NOT in the form directions? Thanks! I have read the message boards this is not addressed.
